Professional Level: Mission to Mars
Created by: APICS: The Association for Operations Management
Story:
It has been your dream since you first saw 'Star Wars' to be an astronaut when you grow up. When you are given the privilege to represent your class for a science project, you don't want to miss this golden opportunity. You have always wanted to stand out from the crowd and do things that are not possible by other kids. You take it as the challenge of a lifetime. Your mission is to reach Mars and set up a satellite there. After that you have to carry a rock back to Earth for testing purposes. You have been given an incredible spaceship designed with the most advanced system for travel. You are looking forward to accomplishing this mission. The only thing is, you have to think carefully, push yourself a little more and give your best shot to make your dream come true. You have to completely prepare yourself and overcome all the challenges on your way with a lot of effort. If you’re successful in this project, you will win a prestigious scholarship from the President of United States of America.
Description:
You have to start your space ship from the launch pad on Earth. Then, you must travel down the slope away from the Earth. After coming down the slope you have a rough path ahead. First, you have to cross a bridge and then you have to pick up the satellite and carry it through the tunnel. Once you come out of the tunnel you have to place the satellite in the drop box. When you move forward, collect the rock and carry it back to earth for testing purposes. When you reach the launch pad, eject the rock away from the platform.
