MOCs are simply as the name implies, "My Own Creation." This is a new event that started in 2006. All you do is build something out of 100% LEGO bricks, bring it to the competition, register it and display it. There will be three categories this year for voting and prizes.

NOTE: You DO NOT have to be registered in the MINDSTORMS Challenge to enter the MOC. This is an Individual event NOT a team effort.

There will be a prize for first place in each category. All winners will be decided by popular vote (a voting box will be near the MOC entrance/exit).

No need to pre-register, on the day of the challenge just bring and display your MOC. A monitor will ask you for the category and apply the appropriate stickers.

• Red - Freestyle MOC (any type of MOC including MINDSTORMS). Builder must be over 15 years of age (yes, adults can enter)
• Yellow - MINDSTORMS MOCs ONLY. Builder must be between the ages of 10 - 15.
• Blue - Freestyle MOC (any type of MOC non-MINDSTORMS). Builder must be between the ages of 10 - 15.
• Green - Freestyle MOC (any type of MOC including MINDSTORMS). Builder must be under 10 years old (yes, your little brother or sister can enter)
