The Awards Ceremony for Beginner Teams ONLY will be at 3:00 pm, followed by the Awards Ceremony for Expert and Intermediate Teams at 5:00 pm.
This year, we will have a new MOC category that is open to all ages. The NXT/RCX-controlled MOC can be any all-LEGO robot that is programmed to moved. (This MOC entry will replace the Robot Zoo.) Winner will be chosen by popular vote.
The Robot Zoo exhibit has been eliminated. (There is a new MOC category for NXT/RCX-controlled MOC.)
NOTE: Last year, we added a new element to the scoring matrix for each Professional Mission – one “scoring line” that was left blank when courses were posted to the website. These "secret" lines were revealed to teams in the coaches' packets on Challenge Day. This required teams to do some additional “on-the-fly” building and/or programming on Challenge Day to earn some points. Most courses will again have a "secret" line this year which will be revealed on Challenge Day.
