The purpose of Ambassadors is to serve and represent the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Wichita State University through its programs and its mission. Ambassadors are outgoing energetic, creative and enthusiastic students that help host official programs, events, and act as student liaisons to various communities, organizations, and departments the office serves. The Ambassadors position is a year-long volunteer commitment developed to heighten cultural awareness and increase campus-wide participation in diversity programs, activities and understanding. Ambassadors are representatives for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, reaching out across differences to contribute to building an all-inclusive campus community that encourages affirmation, exploration and celebrates diversity.
