Tutoring Policies:

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Failure to comply may result in suspension of tutoring services. By clicking on the Submit Request button, you agree to the Tutoring Policies.

  • I understand that I will receive notification by email when I have been assigned a tutor, with confirmation of location, time, and tutor.
  • If I do not receive notification from the MSMP Program Assistant within two (2) business days of submission of my request, I will call 316-978-3034, or visit the Office of Multicultural Affairs, 174 Grace Wilkie Annex, regarding my request to find a tutor.
  • I will notify the MSMP Program Assistant at Wichita State if I drop a class or change my schedule.
  • You must be currently enrolled and attending classes at Wichita State in the course for which you are requesting a tutor.
  • I will check my email daily for messages from the MSMP Program Assistant.
  • I will not expect my tutor to do my assignments for me.
  • I will attend class on a regular basis.
  • I will attend tutoring sessions as appointed.
  • I understand that I will be dropped from tutoring if I fail to show up to two (2) sessions without canceling at least two (2) hours prior to the appointment time.
  • I give permission for my contact information to be given to my tutor, and I agree that information regarding the tutorial services I receive may be released to my instructor.

***PLEASE NOTE:

ANY REQUESTS THAT ARE RECEIVED BEFORE THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASSES WILL BE ASSIGNED AFTER CLASSES BEGIN DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF THE SEMESTER, AND THEY WILL BE MADE DAILY THEREAFTER. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN E-MAIL FROM US ON OR BEFORE THE 4TH  SCHOOL DAY AFTER FILLING OUT A REQUEST (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASSES) PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE OF MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS AND MSMP PROGRAMMING STAFF. RECHECK YOUR AVAILABLE TIMES FOR ACCURACY BEFORE CLICKING THE SUBMIT REQUEST BUTTON.
