Institutional Memberships

Wichita State University has joined the following memberships that support online, hybrid, and technology-mediated teaching and learning.


WCET (WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies) fosters best practices and policies in technology-enhanced learning.

WCET encourages communication among members by holding an annual conference, providing virtual events, and hosting a members-only email forum.

The Online Learning Consortium

The Online Learning Consortium is dedicated to promoting e-Learning in mainstream education (K-12 and Higher Education).

They provide professional development opportunities through virtual workshops, publications, including the Online Learning Journal, and conferences.

How do I create an account affiliated with my institution?

  1. Click to create a free user account.
  2. Once you complete your registration, you will be sent an e-mail and asked to verify your account.
  3. Once logged in, click on your username in the upper right hand corner of the home page. You will be brought to your “My Account” page. Click on “Edit Profile” to affiliate your account. Please enter your name and organization in the spaces provided. (Please make sure the organization name you type in matches the one listed on the membership list.)
  4. The system will now recognize you as a member. Go to the member resources page for details on your membership benefits such as free webinars and access to the Online Learning Journal.

Quality Matters™ is a national peer-based online course design quality assurance program. We are members in Quality Matters™ through our affiliate membership in KC REACHE.

Education Advisory Board - Continuing and Online Education Forum

The Education Advisory Board's Continuing and Online Education Forum provides best practice research for continuing and online learning. Their "off-the-shelf" research library includes custom research briefs and breakthrough practice research.

To create an account do the following:

  1. go to www.eab.com
  2. On the top left of the homepage, hover over the "Member Login" bar. Select "New User."
  3. On the registration page, indicate that you are in Wichita, Kansas, and then you will be able to select Wichita State University, and then provide your personal information with a unique password.
  4. Once you click "submit" you will receive an email in your inbox with a confirmation code. If you do not receive this within a few minutes, check you spam folder.
