BS in Homeland Security Curriculum

The WSU Online Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security (HLS) provides students with a foundation in security, with specialized learning in emergency management, terrorism studies, or cybersecurity.

The online BS in Homeland Security degree combines WSU's General Education requirements with a solid core of homeland security courses. This four-year program can be completed fully online, transfer credits are accepted from regionally accredited community colleges and universities.

  • WSU General Education and other Liberal Arts & Sciences Graduation Requirements
    • 12 hours Foundation Skills Courses

    • 12 hours Social & Behavioral Sciences General Education Courses
    • 10 hours Natural Science General Education Courses
  • The remaining hours would be open electives, including up to 11 additional hours of HLS elective coursework.
