All new degree bound students are required to attend Orientation prior to beginning their first semester at Wichita State University. The Mission of Orientation is to excite new students about being a part of the Shocker community and aid in their academic and social transition to Wichita State. Orientation will provide information to help prepare you for life on campus and teach you about the services and resources available to you as a WSU student. You will also obtain your Shocker ID card, attend sessions of interest to you and more.
There are different options depending on whether you are a freshman, transfer, or returning adult student. If you are attending WSU directly from high school you should attend a Freshman Orientation Program regardless of the number of hours you have earned.
Registration for Orientation for Spring 2010 entry students will begin November 23.
Registration for Orientation for Fall 2010 entry students will begin April 1.
