The WSU Shuttle System, launched in August 2013, is a free service to students, faculty, staff and visitors to WSU. It is provided as an alternative to parking on the WSU main campus.
Four shuttle buses will make 30-minute round trips from the parking lot at Hughes Metropolitan Complex to the main campus. The buses will make stops at five campus locations:
The shuttle buses stop at each of the pick-up locations every seven to 10 minutes. The first bus will leave the Metropolitan Complex at 7 a.m. The last bus will leave the Metropolitan Complex at 10 p.m. and return at 10:30 p.m.
Buses only run on weekdays when classes are in session. No buses will run on weekends, holidays, when the university is closed for inclement weather, or during summer classes.
In Jan. 2014, the system will be expanded with a second route that serves WSU residence halls. There will also be a new stop added for both routes in the southwest quadrant of campus.
