Parking for University Partners

Refer to the frequently asked questions below, for information specific to parking on campus for university partners, their employees and guests. 

Q: I'm a partner employee with an office on the Innovation Campus, and I plan to park on campus regularly. How does the university register my vehicle into the system?

The university does not register partner employee vehicles. As a WSU partner, you will have access to the myWSU portal, provided by InformationTechnology Services. Your contract with WSU will indicate where you can park. Partner employees will manage their personal parking accounts through the myWSU portal. 

If a partner reaches the maximum amount of ePermits in their contract, please email wsuaccountsreceivable@wichita.edu

Partner employees will be able to register up to five vehicles through the myWSU portal. Once you  have the information for your rental car, you will need to update your parking account.

Q: I want to invite guests to visit my Innovation Campus facility. Do guests need to be registered?

For guests at the facility for a maximum of one day:

No. Visitors (not affiliated to WSU) to campus during the enforcement period may park without an ePermit for four calendar days during the year (July-June).

If the guest is affiliated to WSU, they must register their vehicle and buy an ePermit. 

For guests at the facility for five days or more:

Yes; The guests will need to be registered. 

  1. The guest can purchase a visitor ePermit for $5/day or $75/semester
  2. If the partner has access to a visitor account, they may register a guest under the visitor account. 
  3. If the partner does not have access to a visitor account, they can request one by emailing wsuaccountsreceivable@wichita.edu.

Q: Parking spots are included in my agreement. How does the university register my people who are here frequently, infrequently or guests to these spots?

The system will only allow the amount of ePermits, stated in the contract, to be issued to the partner employees.

If a partner reaches the maximum amount of ePermits in the contract, please email wsuaccountsreceivable@wichita.edu.

If the partner would like to use a certain amount of the contracted ePermits for visitors, they can request a visitor account by emailing wsuaccountsrecievable@wichita.edu.
