Enhance Learning

 

To provide quality opportunities designed to assist students in the development of leadership skills that are beneficial both inside and outside of the classroom.

 

 

To enhance student learning through teaching, research, scholarship, creative performance, and dedicated advising that exemplifies the values of academic freedom.

 

 

To generate the equivalent or more gross credit hours necessary to support the university budget.

To ensure that the needed infrastructure and staff are available to offer our students the best learning environment.

 

 

To provide a safe, accessible, and attractive campus environment that is conducive to student success.

 

Retain

 

To offer programs and services that will assist students in clarifying and achieving their career and academic priorities.

 

 

To provide support for students in need or crisis with the ultimate objective of student retention and success.

 

 

To retain sufficient numbers of continuing and new students to generate the equivalent or more gross credit hours necessary to support the university budget.

Recruit

To increase awareness of and preference for  Wichita State University for students who can be best served by our institution.

 

 

To provide state and institutional resources to incoming students at the undergraduate and graduate levels to assist in financing their education.

 

 

To recruit sufficient numbers of new and transfer students to generate the equivalent or more gross credit hours necessary to support the university budget.
