PLTW Core Training Institute (CTI) College Credit 
Wichita State University

Teachers participating in a PLTW Core Training Institute have the option to enroll in a for-credit, graduate level course at Wichita State University to earn graduate credit.

Teachers who are currently enrolled in a Graduate Degree Program at Wichita State University can earn graduate credit by:

  • Enrolling in the appropriate graduate-level course (detailed information made available prior to each CTI)
  • Paying all applicable tuition and fees
  • Successfully completing all requirements of the CTI
  • Completing a separate portfolio (due one week after the CTI)

Teachers who are not enrolled in a Graduate Program at Wichita State University may earn graduate credit by:

  • Applying for Admission to the Graduate School on a Non-Degree Basis (a one-time non-refundable application fee is required)
  • Enrolling in the appropriate graduate-level course
  • Paying all applicable tuition and fees
  • Successfully completing all requirements of the CTI
  • Completing a separate portfolio (due one week after the CTI)
