The Public Policy and Management Center (PPMC) at Wichita State University's Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs provides professional development, policy and applied research and technical assistance and consultation. Below are examples of recently completed projects in these three main services areas.

In place of the traditional Hugo Wall Day, the Public Policy & Management Center, Hugo Wall School and the Division of Diversity & Community Engagement present Engage WSU, a day that brings together University, public, nonprofit and community leaders for current research and knowledge exchange in public service.

Public Service Recognition Week 2017
May 7-13

Celebrated the first week of May since 1985 (beginning on the first Sunday of the month), Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) is a national week-long celebration to honor those who serve our nation as federal, state, county and local government employees.
The Public Policy & Management Center, with help from Meritrust Credit Union, has several activities planned to honor and celebrate our partners in public service.


Professional Development
The Public Policy and Management Center provides professional development to government administrators, elected officials, nonprofit organizations and community members.

Technical Assistance and Consultation
