Human Factors Driving Research in the Media

 

The Human Factors program has recently been featured in the local media discussing driving research. First, Dr. Rui Ni of the Visual Perception and Cognition lab talks about a new study in collaboration with the Derby Senior Center seeking to improve driving for older adults.

Next, Dr. Alex Chaparro, the Psychology Department Chair and director of the Visual Psychophysics Lab, gives an interview about the dangers of texting and driving.
