 Governing Board:                                                                                        

KLETC:


The Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) is the first of two Governing Board members affiliated with the Regional Community Policing Training Institute. Directed by Ed H. Pavey, KLETC provides comprehensive, progressive, quality training and support for Kansas’s law enforcement. The curriculum utilized through KLETC includes topics on Law, Police Patrol Procedures, Police Investigative Procedures, Human Relations, Demonstrable Proficiency areas, Practical Problems, Officer Safety Fitness and Health and Emergency Medical Care. Training programs are conducted at the training center in Hutchinson, Kansas.


NLETC:


The Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center (NLETC) is the second member of the Governing Board for the Regional Community Policing Training Institute, and is directed by William Muldoon. The NLETC provides basic and specialized training for law enforcement and detention officers statewide. Courses include mandatory training, continuing education and specialized training on topics that are prevalent in everyday law enforcement operation. Training programs are conducted at the training center in Grand Island, Nebraska.

 

 

Partners:                                                                                                    

 

The Institute has a number of partners representing both law enforcement and community groups from Kansas and Nebraska. The role of the partners is to provide advice on programming, scheduling, and community policing issues in both states. The partners are active representatives with whom the Institute staff meets with, both formally and informally, on a regular basis. Our partners are:
