Jessica White

Vice-President Jessica White is a senior this year, majoring in Entrepreneurship. Jessica serves on the RSC Board of Directors Committee. Jessica graduated from Kapaun Mount Carmel in Wichita.

Past Leadership/Volunteer Experience includes the Dean's Scholarship Selection Committee, Brooks Middle School Mentor, Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas Business Plan Mentor, Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas Alumni of the Year, Students in Free Enterprise Member/Secretary, Student in Free Enterprise Presentation Team, Publications Board for The Sunflower, Foundations of Excellence - All Students Committee, Student Government Association Business Senator, Student Government Association At-Large Senator, Student Government Association Director of Public Relations.

Jessica's 2009/2010 SGA Goals include -

1. Better understand the concerns and needs of many different student populations at WSU, especially those underrepresented in the Student Senate.
2. Create a more unified campus by creating opportunities to intermingle students that wouldn't generally interact.
3. Help each student reach their full potential at WSU and beyond through excellent education and awareness of the services and opportunities provided to them from the campus community.

Things Jessica would like to see changed at WSU:
"I'd like to see more student involvement and more places to study."

Jessica's favorite things about WSU:
"How caring and friendly our faculty and staff is, as well as the beauty of our campus."

Jessica's Hobbies:

  • Drawing & painting
  • Getting involved in the Wichita community
  • Brainstorming!

"I am also an Orientation Leader for new freshman and transfer students."
