Prescription Refills

New Policy: Beginning May 1, 2016, Student Health Services will be changing our prescription refill policies. Patients may only request and purchase ONE REFILL of any medication at a time or in a 30-day period. This policy change is to meet insurance reimbursement requirements. If this new policy does not meet your needs, you may speak to a nurse to discuss your situation. If you choose to purchase more than one refill of a medication at a time, you will be purchasing the extra amount of medication at your own expense. The request for an extra amount of refills of the medication will need 24 hours to be processed and available for purchase.

Please call in or drop off a prescription during the times listed below:

Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. to noon

Prescription refill policies:

  • Fridays and the day before a holiday, prescription refills will be filled up until 12 p.m.
  • Prescriptions called in or dropped off after 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday or 4 p.m. Fridays will not be filled until the next business day.
  • Prescriptions may be picked up until 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 4:30 p.m. Fridays.
  • We do not accept prescriptions written by outside physicians.
  • If you need to refill a prescription or have any other questions regarding prescription refills, please call the Student Health Services office at 316-978-3620.
