School of Social Work Mission
The mission of the School of Social Work at Wichita State University is to prepare students for competent and ethical practice in metropolitan environments. In our scholarship, teaching and service, we are committed to the enhancement of individual and community well being with particular attention to the needs of Wichita and the surrounding region.
Accreditation Information
The BSW and MSW programs at Wichita State University are both fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
The BSW Program's accreditation was reaffirmed in June 2003 for eight years through June 2011. The MSW Program's accreditation was reaffirmed in June 2007 for eight years through June 2015.
