Larry Ramos earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Kansas State University and a Master's of Liberal Studies from Wichita State University. He is responsible for supervising all aspects of the program including grant funding, budgeting, supervising personnel, and annual performance reports for the staff and program . He serves as a liaison between the program, the university, Wichita Community, USD 259, Kanas Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education.
Middle School Director
Room # 315, Brennan Hall 1
Stephanie Haynes has a bachelor's degree in Communication and a master's in public communication, both from Wichita State. She has been with TRIO Talent Search since 2000. As the Middle School Director, she works with 300 students throughout USD 259. In her current role, she provides the skills and tools necessary for students to succeed in middle school. Haynes also coordinates our highly successful Summer Enrichment Program for middle school students held each year on the WSU main campus.

Mani Souriya is a TRIO alumna, originally from Laos. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s of Education in Counseling, both from Wichita State. She joined TRIO Talent Search in 2005. Mani works with students at Robinson and organizes all of the program's campus visits, database and student information, evaluations of services and activities.

Myron Richard graduated with a bachelor's degree in general studies with an emphasis in criminal justice and ethnic studies from Wichita State. He has been an Educational Development Assistant since 2006. Myron works with students at East and South high schools and Wilbur Middle School. He coordinates the program's career and mentoring activities.

Miguel Sabas-Perez is originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Wichita State University with an emphasis in international business . He has been with the program since 2014 and works with students at North, Northeast, and Northwest high schools and Marshall Middle School. He coordinates financial literacy activities for the program and provides advice and college preparation for Spanish-speaking students and parents.

Tahmina Trisha is a TRIO alumna, originally from Bangladesh. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Wichita State with an emphasis in human resource management. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration. Tahmina has been with the program since 2013. She coordinates the program's college test preparation activities and serves Heights, Southeast, and West high schools and Curtis Middle School.
Sharon K. Robertson

Sharon Robertson is a TRIO alumna who earned her Associate's Degree from Wichita State University and is currently pursuing a general studies degree with a primary emphasis on psychology and allied emphasis in creative writing and women's studies. She has been with the program since 2014. In her role, she assists with timekeeping, payroll, monitoring expenditures, managing the website and editing the program newsletter.
