As a high school counselor, you are an important part of your students' college decision-making processes. That's why we've created this web page just for you! We have compiled important information that you use on a regular basis. Click on the links below to access additional information.
High school students can begin taking college courses at WSU as a guest student once they have completed their junior year. Requests for guest admission by younger students will be considered on an individual basis. Click on the blue link above for guest admission criteria, as well as the appropriate forms. The admission requirements for high school guests changed as of May 1, 2007.
WSU's federal ID number is 001950; The priority deadline to apply for federal aid is March 1.
FAFSA on the Web
Scholarships
WSU begins awarding scholarships for freshmen in September of the students' senior year and transfer students in February. Students should apply early to ensure full consideration. *WSU does not have a deadline for scholarship applications.

Independent Status Form
If one of your students wants to request independent status for financial aid purposes, he or she needs to complete this form.
