Getting Started

1. APPLY FOR ADMISSION or REACTIVATE YOUR FILE

Have you taken classes at WSU before? If yes, then you do not need to apply for admission. Simply reactivate your file through the Registrar’s Office. There is no charge to reactivate your file. (Note: Current WSU students should contact their advisers if they wish to be part of the WSU Complete program.)

If you haven't taken classes at WSU before, you'll need to submit an application of admission and provide necessary academic records.

If you have 24 or more transfer hours:  Students with 24 cumulative credit hours* from other accredited institutions must have each institution send a transcript.
If you have fewer than 24 transfer hours: Students with fewer than 24 cumulative transfer hours* from accredited institutions must have each institution send a transcript and have their final high school transcript or official GED scores sent. Students without a high school diploma or GED are not admissible.
If you do not have transfer hours: Students without any transfer hours must have their final high school transcript or official GED scores sent. Students without a high school diploma or GED are not admissible.

*Transfer GPA requirements: 2.00 GPA for criminal justice and general studies degrees. 2.25 GPA for business administration. 2.50 GPA for sport management.

We look forward to assisting you with the admissions process and any other questions you may have regarding Wichita State University.
