About Madrigal Singers

Madrigal singers is select mixed ensemble of 16-20 voices, open by audition to students of sophomore standing or above.  The ensemble specializes in choral works for smaller choral ensembles.  Presents campus concerts each semester and participates in the annual Candlelight Christmas Concert.  In addition, Madrigals frequently appears before civic and university organizations and tours once per year.

Auditions

  • Open to all Wichita State University students of sophomore standing or above
  • A two-semester commitment is required for membership
  • Auditions held during the first two days of classes during fall semester
  • Auditions consist of sight-singing, pitch memory, and vocalizes
