Welcome to the Wichita State University division of Academic Affairs and Research.Wichita State is the only Urban Serving Research University in the State of Kansas. Through our academic and research programs we work in collaboration with the government, business, non-profit and educational sectors in the greater Wichita area to develop human capital for the global economy, support educational innovation at all levels, promote public health and sustain communities. We do this through the work of our faculty and their graduate and undergraduate students in the W. Frank Barton School of Business, the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and sciences, the College of Engineering, the College of Education, the College of Fine Arts and the College of Health Professions supported by the University Libraries, the Graduate School and the Office of Research Administration.
