Construction starts on clinic

The dental hygiene clinic renovation will get under way May 9 in order for the clinic to reopen in the fall. The $775,000 project is being underwritten by the Delta Dental Plan of Kansas Foundation and Preferred Health Systems.
The clinic is normally closed during the summer, except for a two-week presession class, which will meet in the fall instead. Because of the renovations and other infrastructure work that will be done in Ahlberg Hall, the cadaver lab will move to Newman University for the summer.
