Here comes the judge

Judge Marilyn Milian, who has presided over "The People's Court" for more than five years, will talk about "Hispanics in the Media" during a free public lecture at WSU Sept. 18.

Milian is the first female judge to preside over television's foremost court show.

Milian has also been a featured guest on many talk shows, television news shows and radio programs throughout the country, including FOX News, "At Large with Geraldo Rivera," Court TV's "Catherine Crier Live," "EXTRA," "Weekend Today," "Pure Oxygen" and "Celebrity Justice."

She is a sought-after interview subject and has been profiled in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Miami Herald, People, Vibe, Vanidades, Catalina Magazine, Florida International Magazine, and Glamour among others.

Following her 7 p.m. lecture at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex, audience-goers will have an opportunity to meet Milian.

Her lecture is being sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
