CSD 817 Voice Disorders (CRN 21882) is structured as an on-line only course that reviews current knowledge on the symptomatology and etiology of commonly encountered voice disorders in children and adults. In addition, procedures for assessment, differential diagnosis, and clinical intervention, based on a working knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of normal voice production, are addressed.
This is a 3 credit hour course that runs through the entire Spring 2014 semester, with readings and discussion board activities assigned each week. CSD, Nursing, PA and Vocal Performance majors are especially encouraged to inquire about enrollment.
