A clarification of the new parking rules at WSU

Tuesday, September 13, 2016 Posted: 4:20:05 PM CT

Under WSU's new parking system, students, faculty and staff wishing to park on campus during the enforcement hours must purchase ePermits. The ePermits are required for students, faculty and staff regardless of parking duration. When vehicles are identified that frequently park in campus lots but are not in the system, University Police will cross-check license plate information with student enrollment and employee databases to identify violators.

Visitors to our campus (including alumni, Heskett Center members, Aqua Shocks, library patrons, unpaid volunteers and other qualifying visitors) are allowed to park for up to two hours without an ePermit in lots with yellow, green or yellow-and-green-striped signage. If visitors plan to park for longer than two hours, they must purchase a one-day ePermit at wichita.edu/visitorparking. Frequent visitors may opt to purchase a frequent visitor ePermit for $75 per semester.

Go to wichita.edu/parkingfeedback if you have questions or comments about the new parking rules.
