VIEWSCREEN FAQ
What does a ViewScreen do?
The TI ViewScreen allows you to project the calculator window onto a screen using an overhead
projector. You will need a calculator with a special port which connects to the ViewScreen. This
calculator is supplied with the ViewScreen.
How to I set up the ViewScreen?
To use the ViewScreen, place the ViewScreen on the overhead projector with the curved edge faced
away from the projector screen. Use the velcro tether to connect the grey cable to the projector arm and
secure the ViewScreen. Connect the AC adapter to the jack on the Right side of the ViewScreen and
plug it in. Turn off the calculator. Connect the ViewScreen to the calculator using the special grey cable
which fits into the port on top of the calculator making sure it snaps into place. Turn on the calculator,
then turn on the overhead projector. Whatever is on the calculator screen will be projected.
I don't see the calculator window projected by the ViewScreen.
Make sure you turn the calculator on after you connect the calculator and plug in the AC adapter. Check
to make sure the contrast on your calculator is adjusted correctly. Adjust the contrast control knob on the
ViewScreen.
What should I do with this yellow film on the ViewScreen?
The film is used to protect the screen in shipping and can be removed prior to being used. It may be reused to
protect the screen in storage.
How can I clean the ViewScreen?
The ViewScreen is easily scratched. Wipe carefully with a soft dry cloth. If necessary, moisten the cloth
with water only. Do not use window cleaner or any solvent.
