The Science Alliance

The Science Alliance was begun in the fall of 1995 by the Fairmount Center for Science and Mathematics Education.

The goal of the Science Alliance is to provide classroom teachers with quick and easy demonstrations and activities that they can use in their classrooms with minimal effort or equipment.

The Science Alliance meets monthly (except December & May) during the school year in Wichita, Kansas, USA, usually on the third Wednesday of the month. You don't need to be a Science Wiz to participate. Any teacher that wants new ideas is invited to attend our meetings. The next meeting date can be found on the Science Alliance Home Page or on the Fairmount Center's Events for Teachers Page.

For teachers on the WWW, we are trying to collect interesting activities & demos. You may wish to Connect to the Demos Page.
