Undergraduate Students: At Wichita State University, we have no undergraduate major in Operations Management, but we do have a Minor in Operations Management . It is always a smart idea for undergraduates to select their courses wisely to include such a minor. This can significantly enhance their career opportunities after graduation. Entry-level positions in Operations Management include operations analyst, purchasing agent, production planner, inventory controller, work scheduler, quality control specialist, master production scheduler, and more. Graduate Students: Graduate students have the option to complete an MBA with a concentration in Technology and Operations Management or a certificate in Enterprise Systems and Supply Chain Management . The certificate is a combined degree between the Business School and College of Engineering at Wichita State University. Students pursuing either of these degrees are looking at moving up into the organization into more managerial positions, and ultimately executive positions in Operations Management. Such positions include operations manager, line director, purchasing manager, department supervisor, plant manager, sore manager, facilities manager, and more.
