Important Information:
The MA in Art Education program has been suspended. This means that students already admitted to the program may complete their degrees. Applications for new admissions will no longer be accepted.

Wichita State supports the arts with a concert and theater complex; a 426-seat performance facility built specifically for the Great Marcussen Organ,; studios for music, painting, ceramics, printmaking, and sculpture; a Visual Art Imaging Lab; a visual Resource Center with more than 100,000 slides; and facilities for art education. The Edwin A. Ulrich Museum of Art and the 70-piece outdoor sculpture collection are both internationally recognized.

The faculty of the College of Fine Arts are master teachers, mentors, artists, academicians, and performers. Wichita State faculty, students, and alumni make up more than 90 percent of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, one of the best symphonies in its class. All of its principal chairs are WSU faculty members.
