Office of International Education |
The Office of International Education (OIE) was established to assist foreign students at WSU. This also means assisting the university community to understand more about the experience of being an “international student” and to help them derive educational benefit from the presence of representatives of other cultures. We also encourage international interaction through various activities on campus and in the community.
Our services to international students, generally called “international student advising,” include, but are not limited to: orientation; counseling; certification of student status; information about and assistance with immigration regulations and university procedures; liaison with sponsoring agencies; information about vacation activities; housing assistance; social and educational programming.
We encourage you to become familiar with the information in this packet. If you cannot find the answer to your question here, or if you have other questions, please contact us. The Office of International Education is located in the Garvey International Center and is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our phone number is 978-3232 and our FAX number is 978-3777.
