Preamble:
With certain exceptions, student fees are required of every student
enrolled at Wichita State University. The intent of this policy
is
to set forth the limited circumstances where student fees can
permissibly
be waived.
Policy Statement:
Student fees shall be waived for all Wichita State University
benefits-eligible
employees who are not carrying full-time class loads (undergraduate 12
hours; graduate 9 hours); adjunct faculty members; and lecturers.
These University employees must have an appointment for the semester in
which the student fee is applicable.
Student fees shall be waived for currently enrolled students who are working in their Cooperative Education job or who are performing a required clinical rotation or internship off the Wichita State University campus (defined as the City of Wichita and its contiguous industrial sites) for the entire semester.
Student employees and graduate assistants are not eligible for student fee waivers.
