Physical Plant maintains a stores operation that purchases and stocks
materials
and supplies used by the Physical Plant in the maintenance and
operation
of buildings. An overhead fee of 15 percent is charged to all
materials
purchased through the Physical Plant Stores and is charged to all users
of the stores including Physical Plant. This service is available
to all University departments. The overhead fee charged generates
funds used to provide for personnel who operate and maintain stock
levels
in the Physical Plant Stores.
