The Indian Students Association (ISA) is one of the largest and most dynamic student organizations on campus at the Wichita State University (WSU). The organization is recognized and partly funded by the Student Government Association (SGA). An Indian student community of more than 500 and guiding faculty make it one of the most active student bodies at WSU. True to the culture of India, the organization is house to a myriad of cultural habits, traditions, costumes, religions, languages and dialects spread across the length and breadth of India. In an effort to familiarize the west with this fascinating diverse and cultural colors of India, the ISA organizes Vasant and India Nite every year, two colorful nights filled with entertainment and extravagance at their best. ISA has always been and will continue to be at the forefront in networking with different organizations on campus and in times of need of students be they Indian or otherwise. ISA is proud to contribute its part toward 'Shocker Pride.'
