Press Brake

The Press Brake is used to bend larger pieces of sheet metal into the correct shape. It is more powerful than the hand brake.

At each step along the way, plans are consulted that explain the dimensions of the part. These plans are used  by the brake operator to determine what should be done.

In addition to bending sheet metal, another common part of the fabrication process is cutting the sheet metal.
