Pinnacle Technology was founded in 1995 as an engineering consulting firm to provide quality engineering and environmental services to private and government clients, but it has grown into a company that also includes state-of-the-art-applied research and development. The company relies heavily on cooperative agreements and alliances with national and state laboratories and organizations, university research groups, and other private companies. Pinnacle's capabilities include electronics and software development, materials testing, technical assessments and energy education.
One of Pinnacle Technology's outstanding accomplishments was to move "agro-plastics" from the laboratory to the marketplace. Pinnacle has developed and commercialized an agro-plastic manufacturing process that is attracting worldwide attention.
The Pinnacle field trip highlights the collaboration of workers, taking ideas and turning them into practical applications. The field trip demonstrates the testing procedure of the agro-plastics and some general information on a new project dealing with biotelemetry.
