KSTEI Problems and Scenarios

KSTEI problems and scenarios are keyed by number according to
the Related Kansas Strategic Technology. Problems numbered:
- 100 - 199 relate to Pinnacle Technology, Lawrence, KS, an engineering
consulting firm that provides state-of-the-art applied research and development
as well as engineering and environmental services to private and government
clients.
- 200 - 299 relate to Kincaid Equipment Manufacturing, a Haven, KS,
custom equipment manufacturer with products varying from combine parts and
heavy duty chippers to basketball goals.
- 300 - 399 relate to Classic Cable, a communications business located
in Plainville, KS, that has operating systems in eight states.
- 400 - 499 relate to Great Western Manufacturing, a company in Leavenworth,
KS, that makes special orders for dry product sieves and cabinets, using laser
cutters, heliarch welders and lathe milling machines.
- 500 - 599 relate to the Independence, KS, division of Cessna Aircraft
Company, which manufactures small piston engine plans for general aviation.
The problems and scenarios for a specific Related Kansas Strategic Technology
are numbered by grade levels:
- Problems for grades K - 4 are numbered from 0 - 35;
- problems for grades 5 - 8, from 36 - 70; and,
- problems for grades 9 - 12, from 71 - 99.
