Admission to all Observatory school programs is $2.00 per person (with a $40.00 minimum). The Observatory is located about 20 miles southwest of downtown Wichita in Lake Afton County Park. Maps will be sent with your reservation confirmation. Printable 2007-2008 School Programs Flyer Program Times: September 8:00 p.m. October 7:30 p.m. November-February 7:00 March 8:00 p.m. April 8:30 p.m. May 9:00 p.m. Admission: $2.00 per person with a $40.00 minimium Evening School programs are available on Tuesday and Thursdays only. All programs last about an hour and a half.

Note: An Observatory program will automatically be cancelled if there is a severe thunderstorm warning or tornado warning anywhere in Sedgwick County during the hour prior to the start of a program. Programs also will be cancelled if travel conditions are hazardous. If possible, the recorded program information at (316) WSU-STAR [978-7827] will be changed to reflect any program cancellations.
