Many people overlook the Sun when they think of astronomical objects. To astronomers, however, the Sun is a star worthy of extensive study. During this program, students will have an opportunity of study sunspots, solar prominences, and the bubbling nature of the Sun's surface. They will also see a demonstration of how dangerous it is to look directly at the unfiltered Sun.

A complete daytime astronomy package - with two programs for the price of one can be experienced by scheduling this program with A Scale Model Solar System
