Exploring the Milky Way (WWW Tour)
 Many of the craters on the Moon are named after scientists and philosophers. Learn about some of these individuals and their discoveries while exploring the lunar craters named after them. Saturn, with its beautiful ring system will also be observed.

The Observatory is open to the public every Friday and Saturday evening during the following hours: Admission:
March 2-31 8:00 - 10:00 p.m.
  • $4.00 for adults

    May 1 - Sept 1 9:00 - 11:00 p.m.

    Note: An Observatory program will automatically be cancelled if there is a severe thunderstorm warning or tornado warning anywhere in Sedgwick County during the hour prior to the start of a program. Programs also will be cancelled if travel conditions are hazardous. If possible, the recorded program information at (316) WSU-STAR [978-7827] will be changed to reflect any program cancellations.
