Compare the clouds of Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus to the craters on the Moon as you look at them through the Observatory’s telescopes. Also discover the similarities and differences between our Moon and the moons of these gas giant planets.

The Lake Afton Public Observatory is open to the public every Friday and Saturday evening. From October through February, the Observatory's hours are from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m.

Admission:

  • $4.00 for adults
  • $3.00 for ages 6 - 12
  • Under six admitted free
  • Family Rate: 2 adults & immediate children or grandchildren $12.00
