Our universe was perceived very differently in the 1920's than it is today.
Join us as we observe various astronomical objects through out big telescope
and discuss some of the discoveries made over the last century that have
altered our perception of the universe.
During the Deep Sky programs we will look at a multiple star, a planetary nebula, clusters of stars, a "nearby" galaxy and Jupiter (beginning in November) The Lake Afton Public Observatory is open to the public every Friday and Saturday evening. In September, our hours are from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. From October through the end of the year, our hours are from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Admission:
