Spring 2008 Computational Physics Lab

The Spring 2008 616 Computational Physics Lab had three students who learned the methods of scientific programming and solving physics problems computationally. The final project of the class was for the students to simulate their own chaos theory.  As a group they performed a simple chaos experiments, as sold by Pasco, and then to expanded upon this by simulating the experimental apparatus.

Their presentation is available here along with the audio and a short video clip of the apparatus in operation.

Students of the Physics 616 class: Andy Schauf, Adam Thiessen, and Shannon Ray.
