Kansas Science Olympiad Registration

Registration for the 2017-18 school year is now open!

Please read the information on this page carefully before following the link to register.

Registration

Please note that in keeping with National Science Olympiad policy, a school must have a separate national membership for each team of 15 students that competes in any tournament, including invitationals. So if you plan to enter multiple teams in invitational tournaments, you must have a national membership for each competing team. Participation of additional teams at regional tournaments is open to the regional director's discretion. Only one team from a qualifying school is allowed to compete at State.

  • Schools registering one team: The KSO registration fee is $150 ($90 for the state membership fee and $60 for the national fee). When we receive your payment, we will send you instructions on accessing the digital copies of the rules manual (will become available through the National Science Olympiad website the beginning of September).

  • Schools registering more than one team: As described above, you will need to pay the $150 KSO registration fee for the 1st team. For each additional team you only need to pay the national registration fee of $60. (The state fee is waved for the additional teams since they cannot compete in the state tournament.)

    What Your Registration Gets You

    • Access to the coaches pdf manual with the rules for the events in your division (with each national membership).

    • The ability to compete in Science Olympiad invitational, regional, and other tournaments for which you qualify.
