Activities:

The Faculty Affairs Committee met in September of 2008 and produced a draft proposal of a position of research professor at Wichita State University.  However, some complications have arisen with regard to this proposal so we continue to study it for possible ramifications and adjustments.  Previously, the Faculty Affairs Committee has met with University officials and explored the issues of Commencement timing, tuition reimbursement, and salaries of adjuncts and instructors. 

Two new members of our committee who will be joining us are Silvia Carruthers, College of Fine Arts and Jacquelyn McLendon, College of Health Professions.  We are currently have vacancies for positions from Engineering and LAS Social Sciences.
