The Rules committee would like to present the following names for confirmation by the full faculty senate

JoLynne Campbell, Senator, Health Sciences

Don Byrum, senator, Art and Design

Janice Riordan, senator, Nursing

University Exceptions Committee: Suzanne Tirk, Fine Arts; Krishna Krishnan, Engineering

University Curriculum:  Ted Adler, Fine Arts

We are still in search of senators for two year term from Humanities, Social Sciences and Electrical Engineering, as well as members for the following University Committees:  

Faculty Support -- need a rep from health, appt ends 2007
Undergraduate Research --  need rep from Social Sciences, appt ends 2009

Vice President Gary Miller has approved a revision to the charge of the University Tenure and Promotion Committee, clarifying a systematic schedule for reviewing College Tenure and Promotion guidelines.  We want to add the schedule to the Tenure and Promotion Committee charge.

Revision to University Tenure and Promotion charges:

7.  Review college/school/University Libraries guidelines for Tenure and Promotion according to the schedule in the Handbook for Faculty, 3.62, ensuring the guidelines are consistent with university guidelines.
